If I Had $100

Hello! Here is another blog by me about Ethical Gifts. Ethical Gifts are something you give to people like in Hetti that will help the with there lack water,food, and supplies. Our class got a fake $100 to spend on any gift we want from the 4 sites: World Vision, Oxfam, Plan Canada and the Salvation Army. So i chose 3 gifts from Plan Canada because they had the most Gifts that are worth it's money. the First gift was 3 Baby chicks for $15. i chose it because they could grow up and breed chickens and eat them while having eggs. the next thing i chose was also $15 (total $50). I chose classroom essentials for 1 child. i chose those because it is going to be allot of help for 1 child in a school. The Last gift i chose was Emergency water purification tablets. witch is $50 Spending the last of my $100. i chose those because if a disaster messes up there water they can clean some water back and ready to drink. those were all the ethical gifts that i chose with $100. thanks for reading.

Seek truth

Hello fellow blogers! Today I am righting a blog about the poem that Ms.Crosby posted for assignment # 6. Well I think that this poem is very true and should be more recognised. I think it is telling us that sometimes we have are own opinions about things and that is OK , but sometimes we also have to face the truth and accept it. Like if your friends favourite colour is blue yet yours is green you have your opinion that you don't like blue , but you just have to accept that blue is there favourite colour. Well that is my opinion on this poem. Thank you for reading!

The Piano

Hello! This is my 4th blog. (yay). So this blog is going to be about the instrument i play in music: the piano.

This is a piano (of course)

So ya i am going too tell you tons of info about the piano. First off the piano is a percussion instrument. A hammer hits strings witch makes a sound when you hit the key.  The piano can be electric or wooden (grand piano). Personally i play the electric at my house. The piano plays in the treble clef and was invented by Bartolomeo Cristofori around 1710.The piano makes high and low pitch and you press the key's to play it. The piano does not nead to be assembled and you need to set up your seat before you play it. That is how you use the piano.

What is the message of the Golden Rule?: The message of the golden rule is too tell you that you should always treat people the way you want to be treated. You wouldn't want too treat someone wrong and they would treat you wrong back. Which expression of the Golden Rule do you like the best? Why?: My favourite one is the one for Buddhism because it really expresses how you should treat people how we would like to be treated. How would you express the Golden Rule in your own words?: be nice and kind to other people like you would want them to be nice and kind to you. Why do we sometimes not obey the golden rule?: because sometimes we say hurt full words other known as bulling. Those are my answers to 4 questions on the golden rule.

Behind my name (Zachary)

As you know my name is Zach (Zachary) and I am sharing the Origin of my name, enjoy. My parent's use to think my name was from Australia but after searching up some facts on two web site's, they were wrong. First off I searched my name up on behind the name (http://www.behindthename.com/name/zachary) I went to type my full name in too see what information would appear. I found out that my full name came from a different persons name Zacharias. They were saying that this form has been used ever since in the middle east. Then I came too a section wear it talked about how it didn't become popular until a man named president Zachary Taylor had it and became president. He was the American military commander and the name didn't pop up until after the Protestant Reformation. Next I went to http://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/meaning_of_Zachary.html too see what they said. I started reading too see what they this in comparison too what the other site said. Right when i started reading it is my name gender was male and the name was rated 1 star :(. Then it basically said the exact same thing it said when i saw the other site, it talked about the same person that the name was born with. I then searched the popularity. In 2002 barely any people were named Zach but in 2009 the number shot up in the 50's. Questions: Behind My Name: Zachary, Before I started this assignment, I thought my name was weird , because it was spelt different.
I think my parents chose this name for me because not many kids have this name. After searching on Behind the Name http://www.behindthename.com , I learned that my name means ZACHARIAS. Some other interesting things I learned are that my name comes from a president.
I think my name does suit me because i am a tech type of guy. If I could give myself a new name, it would be braden because i like that name.

tolerance and discrimination.

This is another blog by me...of course. This blog though is about tolerance. My opinion on tolerance is probably different than everyone Else's blogs. What I think you could do to show tolerance is to show more respect to different races (Black,Asian etc.). You could  maybe celebrate the events of other races. Black history month is a great way of showing tolerance. Everyone respect's everything the other race has done for us. Another holiday to celebrate to show tolerance is China National Day. It is a day where the nation of china celebrate. Tolerance is something everyone has,but not fully. Some people are racist to different people (African American,Asian). No one knows why but some people just don't have tolerance. Before i end this weeks blog i want to recap what i said. I told you that you can celebrate any ones cult er and some things can help you regain tolerance. I also told you that some people don't respect different types of races.Thank you and please come again! please comment and follow!
